Tangoe, Inc. is an information technology company that builds telecom expense management, managed mobility services, and cloud expense management software. The company was previously publicly traded, but was taken private in 2017 by Marlin Equity Partners.

History
The company was founded in 2000 and had its initial public offering in 2011.[1] The company was taken private in 2017 by Marlin Equity Partners after an investigation into past accounting for sales and revenue by the SEC.[2] When it was taken private, Tangoe was combined with another Marlin portfolio company, Asentinel.
Acquisitions
In 2009, Tangoe acquired Internoded Inc, a mobile device apps manager.[3]
In 2018, the company acquired mobility management company MOBI Wireless Management.[4]
