Tamale Mirundi


Joseph Tamale Mirundi is an Ugandan journalist, author and political analyst at STV political show dubbed Sharp Talk with Tamale Mirundi .[1] He was formerly working at NBS Television on One on One.[2][3] He is the former presidential press secretary,[4][5] and media advisor.[6][7]

Tamale was a part-time writer at Munno newspaper and vendor even before he had become a professional journalist.[8] In 2017, he was suspended with His One On One show, for use of abusive language.[9] He was rewarded by President Yoweri Museveni with a new car for his Media work.[10][11] He also predicted the downfall of Eric Sakwa.[12][13] He also predicted that people power under Bobi Wine will have more mp seats in 2021 campaigns.[14] In 2015, his contested first wife Juliet Nassimbwa wanted divorce him over political Party differences.[15] He alleged that he was poisoned in 2019.[16] He was also taken to court by lawyer Mabirizi over defamation.[17] In 2015, the judges urged president Museveni to fire him over citing violence in the citizens.[18] As of 16th June 2020, Tamale stopped to attend to his One on One show at NBS Television .[19] On 17th, the show was announced to be held on both Facebook and YouTube until further.[20]
