He initially began performing as a reggae dancehall artist in the late 1980s and made the switch to becoming a soca artist the late 90s. His first stage name was Mr. Evilus, but by the time he began singing the popular "Jab Jab" – infused music soca enthusiasts have come to expect from him, he changed his name to Tallpree.[1]

In 2000, Tallpree built a massive audience in the Spicemas[3] Grenada Carnival season with the soca song "Grave, Jail, Hospital," which was named the Road March (most popular/played song) that year.[4]

Tallpree continues to perform popular soca tunes all around the world, and in 2011, he was named Grenadian Cultural Ambassador.[5]

gollark: <@237328509234708481> Are you planning to readd that CCTweaks feature allowing turtles to use any tool via a tool manipulator or whatever?
gollark: Can *your* OS do that?
gollark: By multiplying two smallish prime numbers (inaccessible to the user except via the debug API, if it was available in potatOS (it's not, fully)) to make a bigger *semi*prime it's possible to make a problem easy to generate but relatively hard to solve.
gollark: It's actually very fast.
gollark: ```lualocal function isprime(n) for i = 2, math.sqrt(n) do if n % i == 0 then return false end end return trueend local function findprime(from) local i = from while true do if isprime(i) then return i end i = i + 1 endend```
