Takaful Charity Foundation

Takaful Charity Foundation is a registered charity in Saudi Arabia[1] that specializes in supporting disadvantaged students.[2] By doing so, the organization helps students to pursue their studies in Saudi public schools. Takaful was established in 2010 by a royal decree, and is annually funded with over 500 million Saudi Riyals (approximately US$130M, as of 2019).[3] Moreover, the organization is open to receive donations from the public.[3] The Secretary-General of Takaful is Mohammed Al-Aqeeli.[1] To date, Takaful has provided assistance to 180,000 students in 20,000 schools across Saudi Arabia.[2]
