T. A. Shahid

T A Shahid (12 November 1971 – 28 September 2012) was one of the notable story & scriptwriters for Malayalam film industry in the recent times. His notable works include Balettan and Rajamanikyam which were among highest grossers of those years. He was the younger brother of another famous Malayalam scriptwriter T. A. Razzaq.

He died aged 41 on 28 September 2012 in a private hospital in Kozhikode where he had been undergoing treatment for sometime. The cause of his death was cirrhosis. He is survived by his wife and two children.
