Synod of the Sun
The Synod of the Sun is a higher governing body of the Presbyterian Church (USA) in the states of Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Oklahoma.[1]
It has 11 Presbyteries, 843 congregations and 158,000 members.[2]
The Synod is headquartered in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex suburb of Irving, Texas.

- Cimarron (northern Oklahoma including the Oklahoma Panhandle, HQ in Stillwater)
- Eastern Oklahoma (HQ in Tulsa)
- Grace (northern, northeastern, and eastern Texas, co-located with Synod HQ in Irving)
- Indian Nations (southern and western Oklahoma, HQ in Oklahoma City)
- Mission (central and southern Texas, HQ in San Antonio)
- New Covenant (southeastern Texas, HQ in Houston)
- Palo Duro (Texas Panhandle and South Plains, HQ in Lubbock)
- Pines (southern Arkansas, north and central Louisiana, HQ in Ruston)

gollark: I guess it depends on what you're comparing against pricewise.
gollark: iPhones are quite expensive, so if you value your time at $50/hour (this might be low, I'm not really sure), it would probably take a few years for the iPhone to pay off, but it could actually come out in favour if it does in fact save that much time.
gollark: I don't get anything like that on my *£120* Android phone from recently, except in Discord, in which the keyboard is occasionally ridiculously laggy due to what I assume is bad design on their end.

gollark: If we assume you open the keyboard, I don't know, 50 times a day, and it takes 0.5 seconds each time, this is 25 seconds a day, or 144 days for it to cost an hour of time.
