Synod of Diospolis

Synod of Diospolis was a 415 synod in Disopolis (now Lod, Israel) in which Pelagius was accused of heresy by the exiled Gallic bishops Heros of Arles and Lazarus of Aix, who were not present. It was summonded by Eulogius, bishop of Caesarea and included thirteen other bishops. Pelagius defended himself by disavowing the doctrines of Caelestius and was not convicted. Fragments of the synod's proceedings are preserved in Augustine's work On The Proceedings Of Pelagius.

gollark: This random website says bees weigh about 0.1g, but Wikipedia only provides information on bee length, not volume.
gollark: Bees probably compress quite well, I'd think.
gollark: Interesting question. All the search results I can find after about five seconds looking are for beeswax, which is of course a less interesting question.
