Syllepte banosalis

Syllepte banosalis is a moth in the family Crambidae. It was described by Schaus in 1927. It is found in the Philippines (Luzon, Mindanao).[1]

The wingspan is about 40 mm. The wings are hazel, suffused with olive buff. The forewings have a faint darker antemedial line below the cell, a point in the cell and a larger spot on the discocellular. The postmedial line is remote, obliquely curved and inbent below vein 3, with fine dark streaks on the veins, slightly outangled with a larger point below vein 2. The hindwings have a faint medial line, upturned below vein 3 and not reaching the inner margin.[2]
