Suryakanth

Suryakanth is a Tamil film actor known for his works predominantly in Tamil films. He has acted more than 300 films so far, and has made his mark as a villain, comedian, in many characters. Suriyakanth has acted in many films, such as Indru Poi Naalai VaaThooral Ninnu pochu, Mann Vasanai, Kizhakku Cheemayile. He made his debut film M. A. Kaja's Vasantha Kaalam released in 1981.[1]

Early life

Suryakanth's birth name was Pakkiri. He was born in Poondi, Thanjavur district, Tamil Nadu. While studying fifth std, the song footage of a film starring Kuladeivam Rajagopal was taken in the poondi Dam area. after the shooting. he was interested in acting in films. Then, he was studying BA that followed was unable to continue for the first year. In Early days he was disappointed by giving money to fake filmmakers, hoping that he will give them a chance to act in films. The man who gave this name to him was the late Sandow M. M. A. Chinnappa Thevar. He has met at the time of Rajinikanth's Thai Meethu Sathiyam film shoot. When thevar asked for the name. He said that the surya prasath. thevar said its like a Telugu name finally thevar changed the name surya prasath to suryakanth.[2]

Film career

Initially he was struggle to survive in film industry. Director K. Bhagyaraj gave a big opportunity to act in Thooral Ninnu Pochchu film. he acted as a silent villain in the film. after, the film release he got received great praise from critics and fans. Then, Bhagyaraj has recognized his talent. director he was constantly given opportunities from his most of films.[3]
