Suruchi Adarkar

Suruchi Adarkar (born 25 April 1988) is an Indian Marathi actress who has accomplished several roles in many Marathi television serials. Born on 25 April 1988,[2] Suruchi started her career in acting since 2007, when she acted in the commercial play Avagha Rang Ekchi Zhala, produced by Prabhakar Panshikar. Since then, Suruchi has acted in many serials, like Ka Re Durava (Zee Marathi), Aapala Bua Asa Aahe (ETV Marathi), Olakh (Star Pravah), Ek Taas Bhutacha ([[Fakt Marathi]), Anjali & Ek Ghar Mantarlela (Zee Yuva) and Pehchaan (DD1 Channel).

Especially, Suruchi's role of Aditi in Ka Re Durava significantly won her fame and praise across the viewer community. Suruchi also acted a small role in the Hindi film Tathastu, wherein Sanjay Dutt was the hero. Apart from this, she supports women empowerment, an initiative by Zee Marathi Jagruti.[3]

Early life and family

Suruchi was born and brought up in Thane, Maharashtra. She completed her schooling from Saraswati Vidyalaya, Rabodi, Thane, and completed her Master of Arts with English Literature from Vaze Kelkar College. She would be pursuing her PhD shortly. Apart from this, Suruchi is a district level Volleyball player. Suruchi's father is the Principal in a law college and her mother is a housewife. Suruchi also has a younger brother named Siddhesh, who has completed his engineering degree in Information Technology.
