Club history

A young crowd living in Kaaminee Magu (Road) of Machchangolhi, Malé, formed a group named Suspatis during the early 2000s and started competing in local sports tournaments. They were officially registered as a club in the name, Super United Sports in 2016. While registering, they had some failed attempts to name the club as Suspatis, then later decided to register in the name Super United Sports, since the abbreviations S.U.S. relates to Suspatis.[1]

Super United Sports promoted to Second Division as they reached the final of 2018 Third Division, after defeating The Bows Sports Club 13–1 in the semi-final.[1] They were defeated 2–0 in the final to champion Rock Street.[2]

SUS gained promotion to Dhivehi Premier League when the defeated Club PK in 2020 Second Division to reach the final by 2–1.[3] They were defeated to Club Valencia by 3–1 in the final.[4][5]

gollark: I mean, I don't actually know if it could be much of a security risk, but there was a thing about privilege levels not being checked properly I think?
gollark: And could theoretically be a security issue, but I don't think anyone actually did anything bad with that.
