Suleiman Ali Nashnush
Suleiman Ali Nashnush (1943 – February 25, 1991) was a Libyan basketball player and actor and one of seventeen individuals in medical history to reach or surpass eight feet in height. In 1960, he successfully underwent surgery to correct his abnormal growth. He was one of the tallest basketball players ever at 8'0 1/2" (245 cm) although he was only 7'10" (239 cm) when he played professional basketball.[1][2]

Nashnush also had a small role in Federico Fellini's film Fellini Satyricon where he played the role of Tryphaena's attendant.[3][4] He died on February 25, 1991.
