Sugar cake
Sugar cake is a confection made with coconut, sugar and flavorings, moulded and baked. It is a popular sweet among schoolchildren in Caribbean countries including Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, and Guyana. It was also popular during Elizabethan England due to the simple recipe and great taste. Also known as cocada in Latin American countries.[1][2]
