Sudarso Hardjowasito

Sudarso Hardjowasito is a former football referee from Indonesia. He officiated in 1980 AFC Asian Cup in Kuwait. He officiated two matches including the final between Kuwait and Korea Republic.

Controversies

On the 1982 FIFA World Cup qualification between New Zealand and Kuwait, Hardjowasito gave two controversial penalty in favor for Kuwait. New Zealand's FA got involved in that matches, calling Hardjowasito to continue the game even the unstable situation come. Kuwait won 2-1 from New Zealand.

Nationality

Hardjowasito is Indonesian referee that resides in Jakarta. He continue to referee until 1985,the year that he retires. He, age 82 years, passed away on 21 April 2020 in Depok, Indonesia
