Subpage

A subpage usually refers to a lower level web page in a website or wiki.[1]

Example website

home
newsaboutportfoliocontact
study onestudy two

In this example website, news, about, portfolio and contact are subpages of home. Also, study one and study two are subpages of portfolio.

Subpages in Wikis

Wikis hosted with the WikiMedia software create subpages by adding a slash ("/") after the 'parent' page name.

On the English Wikipedia, the subpage feature has been disabled for the main namespace (article namespace).

Subpages are used in Wikiversity, where the structure permits contributions by students at any academic level,[2][3] and in Wikibooks, where chapters are subpages of a book.[4]
