Subash Singh (politician)

Subhash Chandra Singh (born 1960) is an Indian politician. He is a member of Rajya Sabha from Odisha from Biju Janata Dal. He was elected in Rajya Sabha on 24 April 2020, along with Munna Khan, Sujeet Kumar (politician) and Mamata Mohanta.[1][2]

Early life

Singh was born in a Rajput family in a small village of Cuttack. His father, Lt. Damodar Singh was also attached to Biju Patnaik.[3]

Political career

He joined politics at an early age. He was also President of BJD Yuva Vahini before becoming a member of parliament. He was also President of Nikhila Orissa Mahanagar Auto Sangh. He had popularity among young people and poor people.[2]

Affidavit

According to his affidavit, he has 12 criminal cases on him and has a worth of 22.3 million.[3]
