Student Organisation of India
Student Organisation of India (SOI) is the student division of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) party in India.[2] The organisation is a part of the Panjab University, Chandigarh.[3] In 2015, SOI Alliance won all 4 seats in Panjab University Campus Students Council.[4] SOI made stunning debut in Delhi University student elections in 2015.[5][6] SOI contested out of 18 seats in three colleges under DU and was able win 10.[7] SOI candidates have won all the six seats of student union at Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, Pitam Pura with Mandeep Singh GGS as president, Agamjeet Singh Malhotra as vice-president, Deepakshi Garg as joint secretary, Tavleen kaur as general secretary while Pavneet Kaur and Amanpal Singh both as central councillors.[8] Manjot Singh was elected as President and CHIRANSHU JAIN of SOI was also elected Vice president in Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College, Karol Bagh. Also at Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa College on North Campus, SOI's Naresh Rohilla was elected president while Rajni Arora and Himanshu Sharma as joint secretaries. Whereas The SOI Delhi State President Is Gagan Sungh Chiyasi ,Secretary General Is Gurdev Rayat .[9].Also Harkirat Singh Brar From IETVE is the Senior President at Panjab University.
