Strick (rapper)

Tauren O'lander Strickland (born January 10, 1986), known by his stage name Strick, is an American rapper and multi-platinum songwriter from North Carolina.

Life and career

Strick was born in North Carolina. He joined the Air Force after attending college at High Point University. In 2016, he co-wrote "Coordinate" for Travis Scott. The song was featured on Scott's album Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight which was certified Platinum[1] in the United States and Canada. That same year, he co-wrote 4 songs on TGOD Mafia's debut album, Rude Awakening, and "Ballin" by Juicy J.[2]

In 2017, he released the single "100 Degrees" featuring Young Thug.[3] That same year, he released the mixtape risk=reward. The followup mixtape risk=reward 2 was released in 2018. That same year, he featured on Young Thug's song "STS" from his album Slime Language.[2] He signed to Young Stoner Life Records/300 Entertainment in October 2018.[2] In January 2019, he released the EP See You When I Land.[4][5] In June, he released the compilation album The Machine, Vol. 1.[6] In July 2020, he released the song "Yacht Club" with Young Thug and Ty Dolla $ign.[7]
