Natural genetic transformation

S. infantarius is competent for natural genetic transformation.[2] Competence can be induced in cultures at high cell density, and is transient.

gollark: They are entirely identical.
gollark: What differences?
gollark: Anyway, OBSERVE video0.mov.
gollark: Now it works?!
