There are currently three recognized species in this genus:[1]
- Stelgistrum beringianum C. H. Gilbert & Burke, 1912
- Stelgistrum concinnum Andriashev, 1935 (Largeplate sculpin)
- Stelgistrum stejnegeri D. S. Jordan & C. H. Gilbert, 1898
