History

The school was opened in 1995 at the instigation of Archbishop Raphael Cheenath, SVD, who provided the Jesuits with the land in Rutungia. The Government of Orissa has approved of the school to be run as a private school without grants. The school prepares students for the State Board Final Examination.

The school is located in the Balliguda block of Kandhamal district in Odisha state, along an all weather road. Victor Joseph served as its head.[1] It covers grades one through ten, with no pre-primary. The teaching language is the native Oriya.[2]
