It is a recognized unaided Christian Minority Institution founded in the year 1974.

The school offers courses from preparatory, nursery and classes one to +2 and follows the ICSE syllabus offered by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations. Affiliated to the council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE/ISC BOARD) New Delhi prepares its students for the ICSE Examination at X level and ISC Examination at +2 level.

The school has temporarily discontinued ISC classes 11th and 12th and imparts only ICSE courses up to class 10th. The school looks forward to restart it's ISC council in the year 2018. The school has collaborated with Bansal Coaching Classes for ISC teaching and would be following NCERT books.

On 23 September 2017, the school launched its official website svcsbalasore.com. The website provides all the latest information regarding school curriculum and activities. The website is a database program of Adonoi which also includes an MIS for both teaching management and students. Online fees payment is also available from the next session (2018-19).

On 28 October 2017, the school organised its first Science and Arts Exhibition after 4 years with a grand cultural program and arrangements. Collector of Balasore, Shri Pramod Kumar Das was also invited for the cultural program.

  • The school organised the first grand reunion (Nostalgic Vincentians 2011) of all batches on 26 February 2011.Mr. Gopal Agrawal of 1st Batch - 1984 was the President of the Alumni Association. Sr.Pavithra was the then Principal of the School.
