Special Team Six
Special Team 6 is a multinational police force formed after the Kosovo conflict. The unit forms a part of the United Nations Police and every member country of the United Nations can apply personnel to the unit. Their main task is simply to be police officers and handle dangerous situations caused by Albanian and Serb ethnic violence in Kosovo. High-risk arrests is also a task for ST6 along with security of diplomats. Other than this, tasks include that of what police special operation units normally are trained to do, hostage rescue for instance.
Members
Every country member of the United Nations can apply personnel to the unit. They have to have background from police special forces. Countries that have or have had personnel in ST6 include:
