Soundtrack for Scenario was produced by Murray Daigle, whom the band says helped broaden their horizons and helped with their fusion of hip hop, rock, and punk.[2]

Many of the lyrics on the album speak of melancholy subjects such as "Virginia Symphony", on the Virginia Tech massacre, "Toxic in the City" on the death of MC Charlie Royal's cousins, and "Saint Andrew's Bridge" on rape.[2]

The video for "Virginia Symphony", the first single, went into heavy rotation on MuchMusic and peaked at second place on Much On Demand’s Daily Top 10.[3] The second video was for "Toxic in the City".[2]
