Lascelles was born in Thorpeness, the daughter of James Lascelles and his first wife, Frederica Ann Duhrssen. Sophie Lascelles worked with Footsbarn Travelling Theatre in the early 1990s.[3] She also exhibits her photography at studios such as Danielle Arnaud.[4]
