Social Justice Tribunals Ontario
Social Justice Tribunals Ontario is a cluster of eight tribunals that judge disputes related to social justice.[1] The tribunals are[2]:
- Child and Family Services Review Board
- Criminal Injuries Compensation Board
- Custody Review Board
- Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario
- Landlord and Tenant Board
- Ontario Special Education (English) Tribunal
- Ontario Special Education (French) Tribunal
- Ontario Social Benefits Tribunal
The psychologist Jordan Peterson stated in 2016 that the tribunals had granted themselves "sweeping powers" that would bypass basic principles of Canada's common law system.[3]
