History
Skyline is the youngest of the six high schools located in Mesa. Skyline opened its doors in 1999 and houses students in grades 9–12.

Football
Skyline High School's Football program is led by Head Coach, George Hawthorne.
After the 2018 season, Paffumi was unexpectedly fired as Head Coach.
George Hawthorne, who was previously an assistant coach at Chandler High School, was hired in January 2018.

- Kennedy McMann – Singer and Actress who is currently starring on the CW's Nancy Drew. She has also appeared in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Gone.
- Braedon Bowman – Tight end who is currently a free agent. Formerly of the Los Angeles Chargers, New Orleans Saints, NY Jets, Jacksonville Jaquars and Birmingham Iron. Junior-College All American while attending Scottsdale Junior College & later attended, played & graduated from University of South Alabama.
- Kolo Uasike – Defensive lineman for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Football Team , Arizona All-State Wrestling Champion (Undefeated).
- Boyd Vander Kooi – 2016 Arizona Gatorade Player of the Year, Pitcher for the Arizona State Baseball Team.
- Aaron Romero – Defensive end for the Southern Utah University Football Team.
