Production

The film was produced by M. A. Venu under the banner Muthiah Pictures. By the year 1959, M. K. T. Bhagavathar requested M. A. Venu to produce a film. M. A. Venu agreed and started producing this film. However, M. K. T. Bhagavathar died while the production was half way. So, the crew adapted the story and completed the film.

Bhagavathar could not sing at this time. He told the producer that he has some songs recorded earlier for another film 'Rajayogi' that was never produced and told the producer to use those songs. So, the songs that took place in this film were recorded long before.[1]

Soundtrack

The soundtrack album was composed by K. V. Mahadevan. Lyrics by Papanasam Sivan and Ka. Mu. Sheriff.[1] Singer is M. K. Thyagaraja Bhagavathar. Playback singers are T. M. Soundararajan, S. C. gollark: Until they aren't, naturally.
gollark: It doesn't help that lots of them rely on the company's backend services, which get provided for "free".
gollark: I'm glad my family doesn't go for IoT things and mostly listens to me talking about the awful privacy side of them.
gollark: Oh, I meant that smart criminals might.
gollark: The fun thing about those WiFi cameras is that as far as I know WiFi devices can be deauthed or something relatively easily, so someone with... a phone and some software might work... can just make it not see anything and it'll get dismissed as a glitch.
