Siobhan de Maré

Siobhan de Maré is a singer, mostly known from lending her voice to the album Formica Blues by the UK band Mono in 1997. In 2000, she joined Robin Guthrie (formerly of Cocteau Twins) to form Violet Indiana, which varies from shimmery wall of sound style with similarities to dreampop, to sparse single-guitar songs with less effects. [1] Siobhan has a sensual, ethereal voice, and she is the fifth child of The Shadows drummer Tony Meehan.

Albums

Siobhan has fronted two bands so far in her career, the trip hop sounding "Mono" and guitar based "Violet Indiana". More recently De Mare has been writing and recording with Gary Bruce under the name Swoone. The track This Bullet Never Kills was released in May 2015[2] with an album expected to be released in March 2018.[3]

gollark: Approximately sensible ish, yes.
gollark: Movies and stuff go for a stupid inconsistent nonsensical one most of the time, though.
gollark: There are various perfectly sensible and consistent ways it *could* work.
gollark: The past is mostly not very good and it wouldn't be very nice living there. Unless you're time-travelling and can just go for a bit and/or bring back knowledge from the future (present?).
