Sinopyrophorus
Sinopyrophorus is a genus of bioluminescent click beetle in the family Elateridae, and is the sole member of the subfamily Sinopyrophorinae. The subfamily represents the only bioluminescent click beetles known from Asia. The genus contains a single species, Sinopyrophorus schimmeli, which was described in 2019.[1]

Sinopyrophorus is only distantly related to other bioluminescent click beetles, such as the Pyrophorini. It is therefore believed that Sinopyrophorus represents an independent origin of bioluminescent within click beetles.[1]
