Shimica Wong

Shimica Wong (born 9 November 1994) is a Producer singer-songwriter in Asia. She was first discovered by music producer Bert, and she debuted as an artist in 2013. She won Best Original Film Song with her single “Let's Dance" from the 2013 film The Way We Dance at the 33rd Hong Kong Film Awards. She's now known as one of top female writer and composer.

Biography

Wong was born in Spain, then migrated to Hong Kong at the age of three. As a child she had been zealous about music and would not stop singing. Her desire was to become an International performer like Beyoncé. She officially signed a deal with Honger Music in 2012, and the following year, she won The Best Original Film Song with her single “Let's Dance" from the 2013 film The Way We Dance at the 33rd Hong Kong Film Awards. In 2017, she left Honger Music,[1][2] and is in charge of her own label Hybrid Music production and Dynesty Empire.[3]
