Sheikh Bhikhari
Sheikh Bhikhari (1831–1858) was a freedom fighter in the Indian Rebellion of 1857. He was Dewan and general of Tikait Umrao Singh. He was born in budmu in a weaver Ansari family but spent rest of his life in Khudia-Lotwa village of Ormanjhi. He and Tikait Umrao Singh prevented East India Company force from occupaying Ranchi by cutting trees of chutupalu ghati. They had fight with company force. Later British hanged him with Tikait Umrao Singh in a banayan tree of chutupalu ghati in Ramgarh in 1858.[1][2][3]
