Shamoon Ismail

Shamoon Ismail (Urdu: شمعون اسمعیل) is a Pakistani born music artist known for introducing a new genre to the music community called "Punjabi Blues[1]". Shamoon Ismail is an Islamabad-based singer, songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist. His biggest claim to fame is his hit song 'Tuntuna' which was an instant hit in his country Pakistan and across the border in India. His song ‘Marijuana' has received the most views and has become his most famous song.

Ismail has performed at various gigs across the country, including popular music festivals like Music Mela and Lahore Music Meet.[2]

Ismail's songs managed to rake in thousands of views in a matter of hours on Facebook and Dailymotion. Recently, he collaborated with Asim Azhar, Talha Anjum, Talhah Yunus and Raamis in their new song Tum Tum [3]
