Shamim Akhtar

Shamim Akhtar (Urdu: شمیم اختر; born 9 March 1927) is a Pakistani politician who was a Member of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab, from May 2013 to May 2018.

Early life and education

She was born on 9 March 1927 in Lahore.[1]

She has completed matriculation level education.[1]

Political career

She has served as Special Assistant to the Chief Minister of Punjab on Livestock and Dairy Development from 2012 to 2013.[1]

She was elected to the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab as a candidate of Pakistan Muslim League (N) on a reserved seat for women in 2013 Pakistani general election.[2][3]
