Shahbad is a village in Tijara Tehsil in Alwar District of Rajasthan State, India. It is located 52 km towards North from District headquarters Alwar. 5 km from Tijara. 174 km from State capital Jaipur

History

Shahbad was known by the name of Simbli, the name was changed by the first Nawab of Shahbad in the time of King Bahadur Shah I. The first Nawab of Shahbad was Nawab Feroz Khan Khanzada, who belonged to the Rajput clan Jadaunvanshi Khanzada and was the descendant of Raja Nahar Khan of Mewat. After the Partition of India the family of Nawab of Shahbad migrated to Pakistan. Subedar Major Nawab Abbass Khan Khanzada was the last Nawab of Shahbad district, Alwar.
