Shaadi Mubarak is an upcoming Indian television drama produced under Shashi Sumeet Productions on Star Plus.[1][2] It premieres on 24 August 2020 which stars Rajshree Thakur and Manav Gohil.[3]

Plot

The story revolves around a mature couple, Preeti Banerjee and Abhinav Ganguly who are business partners as well as wedding planner in a marriage burreau named 'Shaadi Mubarak'.

Development

The shooting of the series was supposed to begin on March 2020. However, due to Covid-19 outbreak in India, all the television and film shootings were indefinitely stalled from 19 March 2020 and the series shooting was postponed.[4][5] After four months, it began on July 2020.[5]

Release

The first promo was released on 30 July 2020 featuring the leads.[6]

Casting

Kabeer Kumar who was cast for a pivotal role was replaced in July 2020 by Gaurav Sharma owing Covid-19 pandemic.[7] Dolly Minhas was cast for the role of lead character Abhinav's mother.[8]
