Seung-hyun, also spelled Seung-hyeon, or Seung-hyon, Sung-hyon, is a Korean unisex given name, predominantly masculine. The meaning differs based on the hanja used to write each syllable of the name. There are 17 hanja with the reading "seung"[1] and 42 hanja with the reading "hyun"[2] on the South Korean government's official list of hanja which may be used in given names. Seung-hyun was the 10th-most popular name for baby boys in South Korea in 1990.[3]
