The Sessions House is a municipal building in Ewell Road, Surbiton, London. It is a Grade II listed building.[1]

History
The building, which was designed in the Edwardian Baroque style, was completed in 1898.[1] It served as the civic offices of the Surbiton Urban District Council and then became the headquarters of Municipal Borough of Surbiton when it secured municipal borough status in 1936.[2] It ceased to be the local seat of government after the creation of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames in 1965[3] and, instead, the building was used for judicial purposes as a sessions house i.e. courthouse.[1] It became surplus to requirements in 2012 and since then has been used as a learning disability centre.[4]
