Serlo de Burci

Serlon de Burci was a Norman of the eleventh century. After the Norman conquest of England, he became a feudal baron and major landowner in south-west England.[1] His feudal barony had as its caput the manor of Blagdon in Somerset.[2][3] He is recorded in the Domesday Survey of 1086.[4]

He is thought to have originated in Burcy, Calvados.

Family

His daughter and heiress Geva married twice, her second husband being William de Falaise.[5] Robert FitzMartin was her son by her first marriage to Martin de Turribus.

gollark: I think the loading screen textures are missing, remove custommainmenu maybe.
gollark: 9.9.9.9 returns a different IP, which also checks out, though.
gollark: Anyway, for me, 1.1.1.1 and 8.8.8.8 do return different IPs for google.com, but they both whoisise as google.
gollark: How can people even use WHOIS with the whole GDPR nonsense surrounding that?
