Biography

After receiving his degree in Physics, Grishin began his career as an entrepreneur in 1987 by baking cookies and hot dogs in his Moscow apartment for 2 cents apiece and selling them for 10 cents. This was the start of a small business in the retail food industry. Grishin was the chairman of Rosevrobank when it was at the centre of the Russian Laundromat scandal. He later became founding partner of the RosEvro Group, a large consortium of businesses which include National Logistic Company (NLK),[3] the largest Russian logistic company, which was sold to a well known international Logistics Company in 2008.[4]

2008 Grishin migrated to the United states of America and obtained permanent residency. He since then resides in California. Grishin owns Rockbridge LLC. Grishin married and divorced thrice, his last ex-wife is Anna Fedoseev.

Grishin, acquired two mansions in Montecito: In 2008 the mansion named ″El Fureidis″, which prominently featured in the 1983 film "Scarface", and in 2009 the seven-acre site ″Chateau of Riven Rock″ for $25.3 million.[5][6] Grishin sold his stake in Rosevrobank in November 2018. In June 2020 Grishin sold his mansion ″Chateau of Riven Rock″ to Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle for $14.65 million.[7][8][9][10]

Confessions

In 2018 and 2019 he made a series of confessions to US authorities in English language. He is said to be a rich businessman in Russia in 1990s years and a holder of RosEvroBank. Grishin painted himself as a “anti-Russian hero” in a bid to land American citizenship as he appealed to the Trump administration.[11][12][13]

Grishin recorded some videos where he confessed about robbing banks in Russia and Estonia. Many Russian press reported it and showed these videos. He declared that he used Estonian banks to cheat on Russian banks. He did this by pretending he lost valuable documents and that those Estonian banks helped him to return those documents, and could then get money from Russian banks for those documents he did not have. He also said that he used pens with invisible ink to sign false bank documents. He said in his videos personally that he wanted USA president Donald Trump to give him US-citizenship for doing harm to Russia. He also made accusations to some people, including his wife and friends. Russian press later found out he removed these confession videos from YouTube, but they have copies of said videos. [14]
