Senior center

A senior center is a type of community center where older adults can congregate to fulfill many of their social, physical, emotional, and intellectual needs. In the United States, many towns have senior centers that are usually locally funded, though some may receive state and federal money.[1][2]

Activities

Activities vary by center and are based on the size of the center and funding. Activities can include:

gollark: I think AS can do it, and I have all of AS.
gollark: I see. That's unfortunate. I can locally accelerate time I *guess*.
gollark: And other gardens obviously.
gollark: Just farm windy gardens and break them.
gollark: I just designed an arbitrary plant generator while typing up a message complaining about that not existing.
