Zhejiang Semir Garment is a Chinese clothing company founded by Qiu Guanghe.

About

Qiu Guanghe worked in the home-appliance industry, before founding clothes retailer Semir in Wenzhou, his hometown. Semir opened its first store in 1997 in Jiangsu Province, selling leisurewear. Semir is now one of China's largest clothing retailers, with more than 7,500 stores.[1]

Semir owns Balabala, which is China's leading children's clothing brand.[1]

Semir Group, Semir and Balabala appeared as a case study in the Harvard Business Review in 2012.[2]

Notable brand endorsers

gollark: You're forced to try and map the data/functions your thing provides onto a structure which may not really fit them well.
gollark: To be honest I find REST kind of an uncool way to design APIs.
gollark: The backend doesn't actually do much, since it actually uses a really simple RPC thing I put together, so it didn't take that long.
gollark: Also I rewrote the minoteaur backend to use a trendier web framework, *THIS WILL NEVER BE FINISHED*.
gollark: What if the witnesses were affected by memetic hazards in "your" voice?
