Segunda Esquadra

The Segunda Esquadra is the main police station of Bissau, the capital city of Guinea-Bissau.[1]

Conditions

On 7 October 2008 several human rights violations were verified by the United Nations Peacebuilding Support Office in Guinea-Bissau. They consisted of inadequate facilities and lack of minimum living standards; lack of water and food. Several recommendations were made, these included: the adoption of mechanisms for the provision of water and food and the closure of underground detention cells.[2]

Notable detainees

gollark: Er, basically, I can do most things not involving viewing dragons in bulk or scroll access.
gollark: Anyone got ideas for useful stuff to put up on YAH, then? Ideally ones not requiring API access.
gollark: I love it when stuff works as intended, if slightly confusingly.
gollark: Yep, they're in but hidden.
gollark: If they didn't show up, it's probably due to the safe view limit filters, yes.
