Secretary of State (Asia-Pacific)

The Secretary of State (Asia-Pacific) was a junior Minister of State position of the Government of Canada between 1993 and 2003 within the Department of External Affairs responsible for Asia-Pacific relations. The level of Secretary of State was established by Prime Minister Jean Chrétien. This position should not be confused with the Secretary of State for Canada portfolio.
