Work
Sebastian is a traveling artist and documents his destination in his sketchbook before they are published as books.[3] Sebastian has traveled to Africa (Nigeria), North America (Haiti), Europe (Austria) and Asian (India).[4] Following his one month stay in Bangalore, India he published the book Making friends in Bangalore in 2014. After a six months stay in Haiti where he taught English and drawing to children in the slums, he published the book Haiti Cheri.[3] His work includes short stories, comics and illustrated reports, published which have been published by several publishers in Germany. As part of his illustrated reports, Sebastian have been at the VW plant in Wolfsburg in 2019.[5][1][6][7]
Sebastian works tell of life in places that are less the focus of attention: in a gay old people's home, homeless people who tell of their lives, teaching drawing in a refugee home.[3] He has exhibited and has been speaker and facilitator in several symposium and workshops.[8]
