Scott Daly

Scott Daly (born February 7, 1994) is an American football long snapper who is a free agent. He played college football at Notre Dame.

College career

Daly played college football at Notre Dame.[1] He recovered a fumble in a November 21, 2015, game against Boston College at Fenway Park.[2] He previously attended Downers Grove South High School and committed to Notre Dame in April 2011.[3] He began specializing in the long snap in the fifth grade.[4] In 2015, he was recognized for his work in sending supplies to the Dominican Republic.[5]

Professional career

Dallas Cowboys

On April 16, 2018, Daly signed with the Dallas Cowboys.[6] He was waived on September 1, 2018.[7]

San Antonio Commanders

On October 26, 2018, Daly signed with the San Antonio Commanders of the AAF.[8] The league ceased operations in April 2019.[9]

New York Guardians

In October 2019, Daly was drafted by the New York Guardians in the open phase of the 2020 XFL Draft.[10] He had his contract terminated when the league suspended operations on April 10, 2020.[11]
