Scoparia molifera
Scoparia molifera is a species of moth in the family Crambidae.[2] It is endemic in New Zealand.[1]

Taxonomy
This species was described by Edward Meyrick in 1926.[3][4] However the placement of this species within the genus Scoparia is in doubt.[1] As a result, this species has also been referred to as Scoparia (s.l.) molifera.[2]
Description
The wingspan is about 20 mm. The forewings are brown, but somewhat paler towards the dorsum. The costal third is suffused with dark fuscous and the lines are whitish. The hindwings are whitish-grey-ochreous. Adults have been recorded on wing in February.[3]
Host species
The caterpillars of this moth mine the fronds of Pyrrosia eleagnifolia.[5]
