Scharfenstein Castle (Kiedrich)

Scharfenstein Castle (German: Burg Scharfenstein), a ruined castle near the town of Kiedrich in Hesse, Germany, was part of the Bishopric of Mainz's border fortifications. It was erected in 1160 under Christian I (Archbishop of Mainz).
