Lake Sauce
Lake Sauce[1][2][3] (possibly from Spanish sauce, willow),[4] also locally known as Laguna Azul (Spanish for "blue lake"), is a lake in Peru.[1][2] It is located in the region of San Martin, 45 km from the city of Tarapoto,[2] at 700 m of elevation and has an area of 4.3 km2.[1] The lake is surrounded by hotels,[2][5] camping facilities,[5] forest remnants and agricultural land.[1] The lake is a good spot for swimming and fishing.[2][5]
