Savaale Samali
Savaale Samali (lit. 'Meet the challenge') is a 1971 Tamil language film, starring Sivaji Ganesan in the lead role of a protagonist and it is his 150th movie. The film was remade in Telugu as Manchi Rojulu Vachchaayi (1972), starring Nageswara Rao, in Malayalam as Randu Lokam (1977), in Kannada as Siritanakke Savaal (1978), starring Vishnuvardhan and in Hindi as Charnon Ki Saugandh (1988), with Mithun Chakraborty.[2][3]

Soundtrack
The music was composed by M. S. Viswanathan, while the lyrics were written by Kannadasan and Malliyam Rajagopal. P. Susheela won her second National Award for the song Chittukuruvikkena Kattupaadu. G. Dhananjayan, in his book Pride of Tamil cinema noted: "The songs became hugely popular and contributed to the success of the film".[2]
